My name is Julianne O’Dwyer and I invite you to join me as I share my once-in-a-lifetime journey
through the natural and cultural treasures of Nepal, a beautiful and spiritual  country.

Won’t you follow me as I share what Nepal has to offer? See images from my once-in-a-lifetime Adventure To Nepal by following me on YouTube, Facebook or complete CONTACT form below.

In 2017, 648 people climbed Nepal’s Mount Everest—a grueling climb to an altitude of 29,000 feet. The rest of the 940,000 travelers in Nepal enjoyed a more relaxed hiking experience found at lower altitudes.

There are more than 200 lakes in Nepal due to the runoff from glaciers in the high-altitude mountains, which makes the water a stunning, vivid green. I hope to head for the Gokyo Lakes (the world’s highest freshwater lake system) and Tilicho Lake, which is located on the Annapurna Circuit, one of the most popular treks in Nepal.

There are a wide variety of animals in Nepal which you can see on safari in national parks such as Chitwan including elephants, Bengali tigers, rhinos, crocodiles, monkeys and exotic birds.

Unlike in the US, where restaurants and cabins are concentrated in a few specific areas of our national parks, Nepalese teahouses are interspersed throughout the mountains, offering meals and sleeping accommodations to travelers needing a respite. So, you can stop whenever you see a teahouse, eat local food, and chat with other hikers and local villagers as you like. This means you do not need to bring a tent, sleeping bag, or cookware when trekking through this beautiful country.

The Nepalese culture is centered around spiritual practices: yoga, meditation, and Tibetan medicine. Tibet is the birthplace of the Dalai Lama, who fled to India when the Chinese invaded his homeland in 1959. This influence is apparent as the Nepalese follow Hinduism and Buddhism. Many people experience spiritual enlightenment and an improved sense of well-being as a results of engaging in spiritual practices while in Nepal.

Let us prepare you for a once in a lifetime experience.

About Julianne

An avid hiker & skier who moved to Virginia from Colorado, Julianne experienced a catastrophic crash of her health due to several autoimmune conditions, including a hormone & thyroid imbalance, toxicity from mercury amalgam fillings, candida, Lyme disease & chronic fatigue/Epstein-Barr. And that was on top of chronic pain due to several car accidents. Through trial & error with various health care approaches & hundreds of supplements, Julianne learned how to heal naturally without the use of antibiotics or other medications.

As a result of her triumphant return back to health, she left her international consulting & then her corporate life to help people, especially athletes, overcome their own health challenges. As a FORMER health coach at National Integrated Health Associates (NIHA) for several years, Julianne worked with clients to support their bodies with lifestyle changes, including nutrition, supplementation, hydration with alkaline water, cellular rebuilding with ASEA & detoxification techniques

Julianne launched 2 health coaching programs to help people take charge of their health:  www.healthylivingwithjulianne.com & www.trekkingwithjulianne.com to help people prepare for adventure travels that are physically demanding, such as the high altitudes of Nepal, Switzerland, Colorado or the Appalachian Trail.

Julianne coaches hikers & athletes who want to optimize athletic performance & recovery with nutrition, hydration, detoxification & other techniques to successfully achieve your next adventure trip whether it is in Nepal or another high altitude region. She wants to help you overcome the obstacles that are preventing you from taking that next adventure! She just returned from trekking & touring cultural & spiritual sites in Nepal in December 2018. She can connect you with a top notch Nepalese trekking company which will help you organize your next adventure to this wonderful country.
